TRAILS research
TRAILS (TRacking Adolescents' Individual Lives Survey) is a long-term, multidisciplinary study of the psychological, social and physical development of adolescents and young adults. More than 2,500 participants participate, starting as early as age 10 or 11. For more than 20 years now, these participants have been examined every 2-3 years through questionnaires, interviews, tests and/or physical measurements.
Not only the participants themselves provide information but also family members, teachers and partners. The TRAILS NEXT study focuses on the participants' children.
